Secured Locksmith was founded in September 2017 by me, John Valadez, but my journey into the locksmith trade began in the summer of 2015—in an unexpected way. After locking myself out of my vehicle, I was amazed at how quickly and efficiently a locksmith was able to get me back on the road. That experience sparked my interest in the industry.

Just six months later, with a reliable vehicle and a set of basic tools, I started taking service calls, determined to build something of my own. I worked hard to obtain my locksmith license, along with all necessary certifications and insurance, officially becoming a Certified Locksmith. Coming from a construction background, I brought a wealth of technical knowledge into the trade, allowing me to approach security solutions with a deeper understanding.

Over the years, my team and I have had the honor of serving the Los Angeles and Orange County communities, providing emergency lockouts, lock repairs and installations, security solutions for homes and businesses, and car key programming. As our reputation grew, so did our vision. By February 2024, we proudly opened our first brick-and-mortar location at 10656 Rosecrans Ave, Norwalk, CA. This expansion allows us to better serve our community—offering everything from key duplication and automotive key fob programming to high-quality safes and residential/commercial security hardware.
